Cincinnati, OH — Holly Adams, a lifelong Ohioan, Christian, mother of two, and business leader, today announced her candidacy for the United States Congress in Ohio’s First Congressional District as a Republican.

Adams enters the race with deep roots in Ohio, a proven record in the private sector, and in political action and engagement. Adams’ conservative values are grounded in real-life experience. Born and raised just outside of Hamilton, Ohio, she learned the value of hard work, competition, and community early on through high school sports and 4-H—experiences that helped shape her leadership style and love for serving others.

“I’m running for Congress because Ohio families deserve a representative who understands their lives, their values, and the challenges they face every day,” said Adams.  “I’ve spent my career in the real economy—managing the budget for my family, achieving results, growing businesses, and building relationships with a diverse group of people, every step of the way.”

Adams added, “I know what works. I know and respect the changes that Ohian’s and Americans wish to see from our government and in their lives. I will work tireless to make our nation more affordable, safe and secure, and to return America to what our founding fathers created it to be. A nation where “all men are created equal, endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” (Declaration of Independence) and enshrined in our Constitution. 

Adams’ family history is closely tied to American manufacturing.  Her grandfather founded a Manufacturer’s Representative Agency in 1949, representing American steel manufacturers.  The business was later led by her father and eventually by Adams and her husband.  The company remains in operation today, reflecting generations of commitment to American workers, free enterprise, and integrity.

A graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in Business and Marketing, Adams built a nearly three-decade career as a top performer in sales and sales management from 1995 to 2022 across multiple industries. Her experience provides firsthand insight into achieving economic growth, delivering results, and delivering solutions that her customers want and need.  As Congresswoman, Holly’s “customers” will be her constituents. Her focus will always be, what do they need?  How can she help them?  As Congresswoman, she will achieve results for her constituents and the American worker, as she has proven her ability to do over her 30-year career.

From 2022 to 2024, Adams worked with Turning Point Faith, part of Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point organization, where she helped engage faith-based voters and non-profit organizations to advocate for foundational American values including faith, family, freedom, and personal responsibility.

As a mother, Adams has been a strong advocate for parental rights, safe communities, and policies that protect the next generation. She believes conservative leadership must be both principled and practical—focused on results, not rhetoric.

“I’m running to be a bold and consistent, solutions-focused, results-led leader for Ohioans and American workers,” said Adams. “Ohio’s First District needs a citizen-led candidate who can win in November and has the experience and conviction to fight for our values in Washington.”

Holly Adams’ campaign will focus on economic opportunity for all, protecting parental rights, defending faith and freedom, eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars, holding all who have engaged in criminal activity accountable for their crimes, and restoring common sense to Congress.
